Coupon Swaps

Every week in the paper do you either wish you had more of certain coupons, or find yourself with a whole bunch of coupons you know you won't use? The answer to your problem is a coupon swap! Coupon swaps provide the opportunity to share your unused coupons with others and hopefully get you some coupons you will gladly use.

One way for those working professionals to organize a coupon swap is to simply start a coupon bag around the office or work place. After the weekend, bring your extra coupons to work, stick them in a ziplock bag and pass it around to your co-workers. They can take out ones they want, and add any of their unused coupons. It doesn't take much time, and you can share the savings. Ask around your work place and find out who is interested in couponing.

Another way is to meet up with your friends over coffee on the weekends. You could do this every week or even just once a month. I do this often with thriftynestor. We meet up and enjoy coffee, clip coupons while catching up, and then swap anything we might want. This not only provides some entertainment during what can be a labororous job of clipping, but allows you to swap instantly! For the stay at home parents out there you could organize a swap among your friends or neighbors. Involve the kids, or enjoy a kid free afternoon!

Coupon swaps are a great way to share coupons! Share your experiences in a comment in you have done coupon swaps before.
